Four Fly the Flag for WalesCongratulations to Cardiff Harlequins' Adam Grey, Alan Croft, Casey Hughes and Rhodri Stanford who have been selected in Wales' 23 man squad for the forthcoming World Championships in Manchester. All four can be hugely proud of their fantastic achievement to be honoured by their country. Everyone at Cardiff Harlequins would like to wish Pikey, Al, Casey and Rhod the very best of luck and we'll be cheering you on every step of the way! Pob lwc boyos! Wales kick off their campaign with a crunch match against the Netherlands on Friday July 16th at The Firs, Manchester University. April 2010 News Double Double Winners!Harlequins 1sts and A team completed a memorable season by winning the SEMLA Intermediate and Minor Flags respectively. Added to the league titles secured earlier in the month, the club have completed a remarkable Double Double - an unprecedented achievement. Congratulations to everyone involved in a wonderful season - here's to even more success in 2010/11 and beyond! Read the match report for both games here.
Premiership at last!Cardiff Harlequins Men's 1sts have achieved their long-held ambition of promotion to the SEMLA Premiership with a 9-4 win over Brighton in the East v West Playoff. Skipper Adam Grey lead the way for the West Division 1 Champions with 4 goals and an assist, as Cardiff took the lead early on and never looked like losing. Read the full report of the match here.
Champion As!Cardiff Harlequins As are the SEMLA West Division 2 champions 2009/10 after defeating nearest rivals Bath 2s for the second time in successive weeks. Quins' fine 19-3 victory was a fitting way to take the league title after being in existance for just two seasons. You can read the match report here.
